The Beaver's are a family of seven living in a three bedroom trailer. Mike and Mary do their best to make ends
meet each month, but they are living paycheck to paycheck. Their monthly rent is $425, and their home is barely inhabitable.
They have a current case with Northumberland County Children and Youth Services due to the cramped living quarters and the
ramshackle appearance of their home.

The Beaver's eldest daughter is seven years old, and their oldest son is five. Luckily they are healthy, but their
younger brothers and sister have numerous health conditions brought on by their home. Their middle child, a three year
old boy, has asthmatic symptoms as a result of the poor heating system in the home.

The couple's two year old twins have suffered with RSV leading to pneumonia each winter since their birth due to the
same conditions. The youngest three children are also developmentally delayed, and due to their need for constant care
their mother was forced to quit her job and remain home. | |
